OIOpublisher Direct Pro, Ad Platform


(1) REQUIREMENTS

- web host with php 4.2 or above, MySQL 4.1 or above


(2) INSTALLATION

(a) Wordpress Mode:

- unpack the OIOpublisher zip file and upload the oiopub-direct directory to your server (you can change the directory name to whatever you'd like)
- activate the plugin from the wordpress admin area, in the plugins menu
- once activated, a quick start guide is provided as part of the script to help you get everything setup

(b) Standalone Mode:

- upload the oiopub-direct directory to your server (you can change the directory name to whatever you'd like)
- navigate to the oiopub-direct/admin.php file in your browser (eg. http://mysite.com/oiopub-direct/admin.php)
- you'll then be asked to edit the oiopub-direct/config.php file (with your database info and the plugin url)
- refresh the oiopub-direct/admin.php file in your browser, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
- once installed, a quick start guide is provided as part of the script to help you get everything setup


(3) UPGRADE

- always BACKUP your database before upgrading
- if you have installed the script in "standalone" mode, make a backup of the oiopub-direct/config.php file
- unpack the new OIOpubliher zip file and upload the new files, overwriting the current files
- if you have saved the oiopub-direct/config.php file (from the previous step), upload it back to your oiopub-direct folder
- login to the script admin area and click the link you will be shown to finish the upgrade
